CDAC Progressive Challenge Round #7, Project #1

This round starts a whole new series of Progressive Challenges. Everyone who wants to take part in this challenge can get the six digital images for free just by joining the group and wanting to take part in this round of the Progressive Challenge. The Grand Prize this time is a prize package that contains over 100 stamps. This round ends on November 30th. We were given six images this round and a mini challenge of being one of the first 20 people to use two of the images in one project that was not a card. If you are one of the people that qualifies for this mini challenge you will receive a free bonus image. Our theme this round is What's Cooking!!!

After a lot of contemplation I finally came up with a project that would not only use two of this round's images, but it actually ended up using four of the images in one project. I used the crab image from Tiffany Doodles, the bull image from Crafting With Jack, the chicken image from Sugar Creek Hollow, and the apple image from *Heart Song Designs. I took a dollar store notebook and covered the front and back covers with digital dp from my collection. I then colored the four images that I had picked to use. I decided to make a Hunter's Cookbook so I went through some of my other graphic images and found a tag that I thought would make a nice title banner and then a graphic of a kitchen counter with some miscellaneous cooking items on it. I cut out all the images that I had chosen to use and added them to the front cover and I left the back covered with just the dp. I think that the four images that I picked cover the possible recipes that could be added to this cookbook such as: wild game, poultry, seafood, and fruit, etc. I used watercolor pencils and Prismacolor Premier markers to color my images. I hope that you like my project.
