Flutter By Wednesday Challenge - FBW # 101

Here is the card that I made for the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge FBW # 101 - We had to use the color green and/or chamrocks and either a butterfly, fairy, or angel. The color is not that great on this scan, but the base card stock is a muted sage green color. Please let me know if you like it.

Card Stock: Sage Green Script from the Sea Glass Die-Cut mat Pad from K & C Company
Embellishments: Butterfly and Flower from Brianna Flowers Collection - Brenda Walton Grand Adhesions from K & C Company;Self-Adhesive Rhinestone Swirl

Challenge 83 at My Time to Craft Challenge - Lovely Lace

Why is it that whenever we are running out of time, things seem to take ten times longer and never turn out the way that we want them too? Please excuse the picture of this card that I made. I made this card for Challenge # 83 @ My Time to Craft Challenge. The theme for this challenge is Lovely Lace. Make sure to check out the great examples that the DT put together for our inspiration! They are great! I hope that you like this card. I used my Martha Stewart punch to create the lacy edges on the blue card stock.

Card Base: White card base from Best Occasions

Card Stock: Blue card stock from 1 lb. Value Pack from Wal-Mart

Paper Doily: Pack from Dollar Tree

Winter is for the Birds

This card looked much better in person that it did in this picture. The card itself is a white card base with light blue cardstock then snowflake digital paper. Then the image is from my PC Hug Club collections. (don't remember which one) There was glitter covering the snow on the banner and the bird houses but it didn't show up in the picture at all. I hope you like this card. I am glad that our weather is much better now than what is was in February.

Babies Are Such Sweet Beginnings

Here is a card that I made that I thought you might like to see. I just found out that one of my twin boys is going to be a father later this year so I thought that I would post a picture of a New Baby card that I made recently. You can't tell very well from the picture (scan) that there are layers to this card - the pink parchment paper, pink gingham layer, raised frame layer, and then the baby animals and the banner they are holding is another layer. I hope you like this card.

Simple Spring-Themed Card

Here is a card that I made with a Spring theme. This is one of my simpler cards. I love to keep a lot of cards on hand to use whenever I pay the rent, send a note to someone, mail in a bill, or whatever I need to drop something into the mail. Why use a piece of notebook paper or take the chance of someone being able to tell that there is a check in the envelope? I simply write my note on a small piece of notebook paper or enclose the check in my blank card and drop it into the mail. I always pay my rent with a blank card so that my landlady can then reuse the card that I sent her check in for whatever card sending need she may have. I do need to start making sure that I put my name and contact information on the back of the cards so that people can get in contact with me if they would like to purchase some of my cards.

I hope you like this simple card. The card is from a pack of white card blanks that I purchased at Wal-Mart, the border punch is a Martha Stewart punch, and the image is from PC Hug Club (I think).
